NOTHING WORTHY OF NOTE
Kersey Graves: Is it possible a God could live 27 years on earth and do nothing worthy of note and not be noticed by anybody? Had Christ possessed the character that is claimed for him his activities would have been heralded abroad.

FABLE OR FICTION
Kersey Graves: Not one of the 300 histories of that age makes the slightest allusion to Christ. This fact settles the conclusion that the godlike achievements ascribed to him are naught but fable or fiction.

HISTORY IGNORES HIM
Kersey Graves: Philo and Josephus recording minutely all the religious events of that age and country, living where the extraordinary acts of Christ should have been performed, do not make the slightest mention of them. No history of Christ's practical life was written by a person claiming to have been an eyewitness of the events reported.

CAN BOTH BE GOD?
Kersey Graves: It is impossible that the Father and Son could both be God. You cannot introduce another being as God until the Infinite God is dethroned and put out of existence. To unite them to make a complete God is a theological farce.

WORSHIPPING A FINITE MAN
Kersey Graves: Talk not to me of infidelity or blasphemy for denying the divinity of Jesus Christ. The blasphemy lies in the other direction. The infidelity is with the opposite party. Coming generations will mark the man who now worships the man Jesus, as being God, as an idolater for worshipping a finite man for an infinite God.

LAW OF NATURE ANNULLED?
Kersey Graves: If the infinite deityship was lodged in the person of Jesus Christ than the law of nature, "as is the form, so is the character", was annulled. For if the principle can be violated in one instance, it may be in another. Hence if a being resembling a man may be a God, an animal resembling a cow may be a horse.

ARTS AND SCIENCES
Kersey Graves: According to Noah Webster, the cultivation of the arts and sciences is essential to the progress of civilization and good morals. Jesus omits any allusion to science, philosophy, or natural law. No improvement takes place in the morals of the people by the introduction of the Bible till the arts and sciences are also introduced.

MORALS AND CIVILIZATION
Kersey Graves: India, Egypt, and Greece, had reached a high state of civilization centuries before Christianity. Greece had academies of learning, philosophers, moral writers, and moral teachers. The Christians are indebted to the Greeks for both their morals and their civilization.
